A RARE LARGE DATED BRONZE FIGURE OF SEATED BUDAI
MING DYNASTY, DATED BY INSCRIPTION TO THE THIRD YEAR OF THE XUANDE PERIOD, CORRESPONDING TO 1428, AND OF THE PERIOD
The smiling, corpulent figure is seated in rajalalilasana holding a sack in his left hand and prayer beads in his right. He is dressed in loose robes with chest, stomach and left shoulder exposed.
