Each with a pair of broad flattened handles extending from the everted lip to the rounded body, carved in relief to each side with a pair of spirals in mirror image, the neck and handles incised and impressed with geometric patterns, small surface chips

Lot Essay

Jars of this shape were produced in both the Warring States and the Han Dynasty in Western Sichuan province.
