A RARE RECTANGULAR GREYISH-GREEN JADE BELT PLAQUE WITH A SEATED MUSICIAN
TANG DYNASTY (AD 618-907)
The rectangular plaque is carved in relief on the front with a seated Central Asian man playing a musical instrument, and the flat reverse is pierced at the corners with bull-nose attachment holes. The semi-translucent stone is of greyish-green color.
