Lot Essay

Shortly after we bought our house at 65th Street, we showed Cecil Turner a number of places where we needed pieces of furniture and asked him to assist us in finding them. He suggested that we purchase this sofa table, which he felt was very unusual in that it has a flap opening out on one side. We have placed it against the banister at the top of the second-floor landing, and when we have a number of people for cocktails, a cloth is put on top of it and it is used as a cocktail table.
