A REGENCY MAHOGANY CANTERBURY
Of rectangular form with baluster divisions above a panelled ash-lined drawer, on ring-turned tapering legs, brass caps and castors, replacements to the half balusters, inscribed in pencil to the underside '1965'
20 in. (52 cm.) high; 20 in. (52 cm.) wide; 14 in. (47 cm.) deep
The use of ash for the drawer lining, a wood commonly used for cabinet-making in Scotland, leads to the possibility that this canterbury is Scottish.
