Of fluted melon form, on circular base, with wood scroll handle and scroll spout, the hinged cover with ivory finial, the body engraved with a crest, marked under base; together with a George IV silver salver, mark of Benjamin Smith II, London, 1827, shaped circular, the border with scrolls at intervals, marked on reverse
The teapot 11½ in. (29.1 cm.) long, the salver 10½ in. (26.8 cm.) diameter; 53 oz. 10 dwt. (1677 gr.) (2)
