A ROMAN BRONZE FIBULA IN THE SHAPE OF A BOAR
CIRCA 2ND-3RD CENTURY A.D.
With detailed head and traces of red glass inlay in recessed spots on the body, attachment pin at rear, 1½ in. (4 cm.) long; a Roman bronze fibula in the form of a prancing horse, decorated with punched circles, the pin with coiled spring, circa 2nd-4th Century A.D., 1 3/8 in. (3.5 cm.) long; and two Roman silver animals, a boar running with legs outstretched, and a miniature mouse with long straight tail, circa 1st-2nd Century A.D., 1 in. (2.5 cm.) and 5/8 in. (1.5 cm.) long respectively (4)
