Circa 3rd Century A.D.
The roundel with a facing lion head in high relief, the mane a mass of rayed locks, the eyes thickly lidded, with deeply grooved whiskers and nostrils, the open mouth once gripping the ring handle in its now-lost teeth, perforated three times for attachment
