A ROMAN GOLD, EMERALD AND GARNET DOUBLE RING CIRCA 3RD-4TH CENTURY A.D. The plain hoops round in section, each centered by a square box bezel set with a cabochon emerald, three large granules at the join of the rings, a cabochon garnet set in an oval box bezel in between 1¾ in. (4.4 cm.) wide; ring size 5 and 7
