A rosewood and tulipwood bureau de dame, applied with gilt-metal-mounts, the serpentine crossbanded top with a shelved and three-quarter galleried superstructure fitted with two short drawers, the frieze drawer fitted with a lined sliding writing surface on clasp-headed cabriole legs reaching to sabots, French, late 19th century -- 29in.
