A ROYAL CROWN DERBY MINIATURE PART TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE
Late 19th/early 20th century, all but the tray with green printed marks and date cipher for 1940, the tray with iron-red printed marks and a date cipher possibly for 1937, pattern no. 2451
Decorated in the 'Double Diamond' pattern, comprising:
A quatrefoil tray, 7in. (18.4cm.) wide
A tea kettle, cover and stand, 3in. (8.9cm.) wide overall, the stand
A teapot, cover, and shaped oval stand, 3in. (7.6cm.) wide
A coffee-pot and cover, 3in. (7.6cm.) high
A cream-jug, 1in. (4.4cm.) wide
A milk jug, 2in. (5.1cm.) high
A hexagonal tea cannister and cover, 1in. (3.8cm.) high
A teacup and saucer, 2.3/8in. (6.1cm.) diam., the saucer
A quatrefoil serving dish with branch handle, 2in. (6.4cm.) wide
A plate, 2in. (6.9cm.) diam.
together with:
A similarly decorated miniature vase, pattern no. 1128, date cipher for 1940, 1in. (3.8cm.) high
