of architectural form with gently arched top and urn finials above engaged composite columns and swagged bases, the bird with irridescent plumage, moving head, beak and tail perched on the central urn, the two-train clock movement striking on a gong and releasing going-barrel mechanism and bellows in the base playing nightingale song and Home Sweet Home -- 21in. (53cm) high, (originally with glass dome), the back board with label of Camerer Cuss & Co., Shepherd's Bush W 12., the bird and movement probably by Bontems
