In the Louis XV/XVI Transitional taste, with pierced brass gallery and top inlaid with a basket of flowers, fitted with a slide in the frieze with similar floral swags, on slender cabriole legs headed with masks and joined by a ribbon-tied foliate spray below, terminating in scroll sabots
