The squat body with four claw feet, decorated in enamels and gilt on a crackled and gold-stippled glaze, with flowers including hydrangeas, peonies and lilies, bands of gilt decoration at the shoulder and mouth, bamboo handle and short spout, the sunken lid with butterflies, signed on the base in seal form Shoko Takebe and inscribed in gilt Tomasu Bi Buro [Thomas B. Blow], slight chip
