Winter modelled as an old man in a hooded cloak leaning against a stick warming his hands over a brazier, seated on logs, on a pad base, 12 cm (4 3/4 in.) high; Autumn modelled as a young man in a turned hat, long coat and trousers, upholding grapes with a bowl beneath, seated on a basket of vines with a flagon between his feet, on a pad base, 13 cm (5 1/4 in.) high; Spring modelled as a girl in a wide brimmed hat wearing an apron and skirt, two baskets of flowers, upholding a bouquet, seated on a rockwork pad base, 12.5 cm (5 in.) high; Summer modelled as a girl in a wide brimmed hat, wearing a dress, seated on sheaves of wheat, upholding ears of grains, on a pad base, 13 cm (5 1/4 in.) high
