A SET OF SIX ITALIAN NEOCLASSIC FRUITWOOD SIDE CHAIRS
First Half 19th Century
Each with incurved rectangular crestrail centered by a floral swag over a pierced lyre-from splat, above a padded seat covered in pale yellow damask over a rectangular seatrail on slightly splayed legs, underside of one bearing a royal inventory stamp P2263 (6)
Provenance
Supplied to the dukes of Parma.
Thence by descent until acquired by the present owner
