A SET OF SIX NORTH ITALIAN POLYCHROME-PAINTED AND PARCEL-GILT SIDE CHAIRS
Four late 18th Century, together with two later copies possibly supplied by Pierre Delbée of Maison Jansen, Paris, circa 1965
Each with rectangular pierced splat painted with gilt rosettes on a blue ground, the tablet toprail pierced with stylised stiff-leaf sprays, above a drop-in seat covered in striped florally-patterned silk, above a pannelled seat-rail and on slightly sabre legs, refreshments to decoration, one back lacking an element of foliate carving (6)
