Each oval and realistically cast in the form of a turtle, its head turned to one side, the cover applied with seaweed and shell handle, silver gilt interior, all but one engraved on base 'Kate Lanahan', all marked underneath and on cover rim and numbered 5-8; 5-13; 5-14; 5-15; 5-17; 5-20; 5-22; 5-43; 5-45; 5-54; 5-63
