A very similar cup and saucer with added berried laurel wreaths suspended from the pink bows and gilt laurel enclosing each grisaille panel concentric with the gilt ciselé band is in The Wallace Collection, no. C347. Jean-Louis Morin and Etienne-Jean Chabry are two artists whose marks appear on wares painted with grisaille trophies on the pointillé ground, appearing from the payment records to have been particularly popular around 1769.
