The porcelain 18th Century, the decoration possibly of later date
Assiette d'echantillon, the cavetto richly painted with a floral still life reserved within a burnished gilt band, the border with four birds named on the underside, each in a landscape and reserved within a chased gilt oval cartouche on the dark blue border further gilt with entwined garlands and seeded lozenges, shaped gilt dentil rim
24 cm. diam.
