France in the foreground, as a half model, painted in French Line livery with black and white topsides, red and black funnels, life boats, port holes, name boards and other details. She is passing in the distance the QE II which is also modeled as a smaller half model and painted in Cunard line livery with black and white topsides and some details. The sea and sky are painted and in the center of the sky is a painted banner which states "France 1961 & Queen Elizabeth II 1969". Framed in a gold frame. 16¾ x 36 in.
