Meiji Period (late 19th century)
The lobed lacquer dish decorated in gold and silver hiramaki-e, togidashi-e and nashiji with four panels with various mon and shippo-hanabishi divided by panels of mokumeji [woodgrain effect] and inset by a central ivory panel inlaid in Shibayama style with four childred pulling a cart with a large basket of flowers
