Presumably Scottish, circa 1800, apparently unmarked
The curved horn mounted with silver reeded collar forming an oblong compartment for snuff, fitted with hinged cover with serpentine thumbpiece, and set with an oval carnelian, the horn further applied with a silver figure of St Andrew with cross, and with silver tip
