Both maker's mark of Hester Bateman, 1783, the first converted from a mug
Each slightly baluster with tucked in base, on molded foot, engraved front with large script monogram enclosed by bell-flowers, with leaf capped double scroll handle, the pitcher with squat spout and partly raised hinged cover, the mug--5in. (12.7cm.) high, 26.5oz. (2)
