the former with maker's mark of Olivant and Botsford, London, 1911, the later with maker's mark of George Nathan and Ridley Hayes, Chester, 1899
The baluster-shaped hot-water on shaped-square foot and with curved spout, hinged domed cover and wood finial, marked beneath rim and on cover, the base stamped Olivant and Botsford, Manchester - 7in. (17.5cm.) high
The helmet-shaped cream jug on circular spreading foot and applied with reeded body band, with curved lip and harp-shaped handle and engraved with a crest - 3½in. (9cm.) high
