A silver-mounted cut-glass wine jug
marked Fabergé with the Imperial warrant, Moscow, circa 1890, with scratched inventory number 7853
The circular base formed as a coiled snake, the jug of oval section with fluted panels and cut with flowering branches through the yellow surface, with central stylized foliate band, the cylindrical neck with hinged cover, the handle formed as a branch with Chinese mask terminal and winding plait, with tendrils, leaves and berries extending around the body, foliate branch thumb-piece, with gilt interior, marked under base, cover and on the neck
