The sides chased with three dancing girls and seated cherubs, one playing an instrument, the foliage of two trees extending over the tip to form the indentations -- 1 in. (2.5 cm.); a silver commemorative thimble celebrating the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria, Deakin and Francis, late nineteenth century -- 7/8 in. (2.2 cm.); a modern German silver thimble depicting the "Fleissige Familie" (Industrious Family); and a further silver thimble with applied crowned coat of arms (4)
