A Sino-Tibetan gilt copper model of Mahakala, 17th/18th Century
standing in Pratyalida Asana the fierce six armed deity wears a tiara of skulls, a celestial scarf, a necklace of severed heads and a dhoti of tiger skin, his principal hands hold a kartika and ghanta - 7¼in. (18.4cm.) high.
