A SIOUX CHILD'S QUILLED HIDE MITE BOX
of rectangular form, composed of rawhide slats wrapped in pink, purple, yellow, green and red-dyed porcupine quillwork, decorated on the front and back with a concentric diamond, each side with a diagonal band, lashed to two small hide squares, enclosing a small cardboard box, the top decorated with a trio of circular elements and HSV, the bottom with an eight-pointed rosette, embellished with beaded trim and dentalium shells inserted with red-dyed feathers, quill-wrapped hide handle, hide tie
