Inscribed Bizen kuni Osafune ju Nagamitsu
Shinogi-zukuri, iori-mune, chu-gissaki, koshi-zori with bo-hi on both sides; forging pattern and tempered edge now indistinct; tang unshortened with three mekugi-ana and two old mekugi-ana now plugged
Koshirae comprising a black lacquer scabbard with ribs at the top and the hilt mounted with shibuichi fuchi-kashira carved with floral scroll and salamander menuki; round iron plate tsuba with gilt inlay
