A SMALL BLUE AND WHITE MOON FLASK QIANLONG SEAL MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE AND OF THE PERIOD
The flattened body molded on each side with a peach-form reserve and painted in fifteenth century style with two bats in flight around a fruiting peach branch, surrounded by lotus meander above a narrow band of classic scroll on the flared, rectangular foot, with a band of lingzhi scroll on the narrow sides repeated below the everted rim, the lotus scroll and trefoil bands on the neck interrupted by the ruyi sceptre handles--9 5/8in. (24.5cm.) high
