The small rectangular chest with hinged door, decorated in red hiramaki-e and takamaki-e with lobsters with long antenna on a kinji ground, the interior of the hinged door decorated in gold and brown hiramaki-e, takamakie and inlaid mother-of-pearl with seashells on a nashiji ground, the faces of the three drawers with stylized waves
