by the Imperial Porcelain Factory, period of Nicholas II, 1897, with later blue overglaze State Porcelain Factory Jubilee mark of cog, V, hammer and sickle, dated 1922, numbered 215/15
Circular, the Red Star, after a design by Mikhail Adamovich, in gilt surround, enclosing a hammer and ploughshare, above the interlaced gilt floral scroll Cyrillic initials RSFSR, the cobalt blue border with ciselé gilt tools including a hammer, sickle, cog and fishing net, within gilt rim and inner band, marked under base
9½ in. (24.3 cm.) diam.
