A Spanish Colonial Silver Dish
Struck four times with an indistinct mark, possibly a Mexican tax mark, possibly 18th century
the shaped rectangular dish overall robustly decorated with leaf and scroll motifs, heightened by grotesque mask and bird motifs and centring a square cartouche with a leaf border and engraved with a stylised coat-of-arms - 42cm. (16½in.) long, 25oz.
