A Steiff teddy bear
with white mohair, black bot button eyes, pronounced clipped muzzle, pinkish brown stitched nose, mouth and claws, swivel head, jointed elongated limbs with felt pads, hump and STEIFF button in ear --19in. (48cm.) high, circa 1909 (hole in muzzle and seams resewn, tear and repair to left ankle, pads recovered, thinning to front of arms, chest and face, some general wear and stuffing disintergrated in arms)
