Provenance
This teddy bear was owned by Karen Laurentze Grunth, who was born in 1913. She lived in Denmark and treasured her teddy bear. Tragically, in 1934, Karen died from a sudden illness. As an only child, her parents were devastated and this bear sat in pride of place in their home until their deaths in the early 1960s.
