A STORM LAMP ADAPTED FROM THE FOOT OF AN 18TH CENTURY RUSSIAN PARCEL-GILT SILVER MONSTRANCE OR RELIQUARY HOLDER APPARENTLY MAKER'S MARK OF F.G (CYRILLIC) ONLY, PROBABLY MOSCOW, CIRCA 1780 Chased with four angels holding the instruments of the Passion separated by four later applied crowned oval shields set on bead-edged reserves, Cyrillic inscriptions above the angels, tall baluster glass shade 17 ½ in. high (44.5 cm.)
