A Swansea shaped rectangular dish
with twig handles, painted and gilt in the Imari palette with a chrysanthemum and sprays of flowers within a rectangular blue-line panel, the shaped dark-blue ground border issuing flowerheads, pattern 223, iron-red script mark, circa 1820 (hairline crack, some light rubbing to gilding) -- 31.5cm. wide
