The Persian curved finely watered single-edged wavy blade with gold inscription cartouche giving the name 'Akbar Shah al-Sultan Mirza', the associated steel hilt with final knop with openwork and geometric registers, the knuckleguard with stylised openwork inscription with the name 'Ali and then the words nasr min Allah wa il-fath qarib, the quillions with fine cut steel finials, in black velvet cloth sheath
