Seated in dhyanasana on a lotus throne backed by a golden torana, with worshippers and meditational deities in attendance, all surrounded by round palace walls and set in a green landscape with other meditators, animals and bathers, with two inscriptions in gold on front and one in black on the reverse

Lot Essay

The inscription on the front is the name of the mountain that the Paradise of the Medicine Buddha resides on. The inscription on the back is a four line prayer to the Medicine Buddha and further states that it was commissioned by a person named Prana.
