Circular, on four ball feet, the tray with Russian adage, with simulated folded cloth with a pierced and enamelled pan-Slavic border, beneath the bowl, enamelled with blue, brown and green decoration and white pellets, the rim of the tray engraved in Russian 'From St. Petersburg old believers (Staroobriadtsi) we are honored to congratulate on their marriage Her Imperial Highness Grand Duchess Maria Aleksandrovna and His Royal Highness Prince Alfred Duke of Edinburgh, 11 April, 1874, St. Petersburg, representatives and honorary citizens Efim Egorov, Ivan Mikhailov, Ivan Latynin.' fully marked
