A Vajra-Decorated Bronze Yantra
Tibet, circa 16th Century
The well of the yantra with half-vajra finial at center surrounded by an incised eight-petaled lotus within a triangle; the outer circular cylindrical section molded with vajras at top, decorated with kirttimukha masks around the rim, and incised with the astamangala amid scrolling foliage at the base, set on a square plinth with ritual choppers at the corners, incised with a scrollwork frame, bordered by a beaded rim and resting on paw feet
