A 'VENETIAN' ENAMELLED BLUE STANDING BOWL
Late 19th Century
Of dark tint, the compressed globular bowl with everted folded rim enamelled in ochre, iron-red, green and shades of blue with beasts and birds amongst stylised scrolling flowering foliage on a wide band and beneath a border of gilt scale ornament enriched with enamel dots, the spreading conical foot with white, iron-red and green line and radiating lappet decoration and with an upturned folded rim
91/8 in. (23 cm.) diam.
