CIRCA 1560-80, WORKSHOP OF MAESTRO DOMENICO DA VENEZIA
With a globular body and short waisted neck, painted with a bearded Saint holding a crucifix aloft within an ochre-hatched yellow medallion within a double blue line border, against a blue ground with sgraffito white scrolls and scrolling foliage issuing fruit, flowers and acorns, between blue line and yellow band borders (two small flat chips to upper rim, the body with extensive spray, possibly to cover breaks, slight flaking to footrim)
