The interior enamelled to the sides in a verte-Imari palette with four shaped panels depicting erotic scenes, on a ground of dragons writhing among cloud scrolls, all encircling the underglaze blue central medallion enclosing 'The Three Friends', the exterior with a continuous terrace scene showing an amourous couple and two lady attendants
