A VERY RARE PAIR OF PAINTED ENAMEL PRICKET CHAMBERSTICKS
QIANLONG PERIOD (1736-1795)
Each of hexagonal form raised on a waisted base with shaped apron, with a scrolled handle issuing from a dragon mask projecting from one side, the countersunk top painted with a large pink blossom spray overlaid by the similarly painted drip-pan from which rises the metal pricket, painted all over with foliate scroll, dragons, dragon cartouches and narrow bands of classic scroll reserved on a yellow ground, the underside similarly decorated
