A VICTORIAN SCOTTISH SILVER-MOUNTED RAM'S HEAD SNUFF MULL
MARK OF J.D.DAVIDSON, GLASGOW, 1871
With two snuff compartments with gilt interiors, one oblong with diaperwork and flowers engraved around a vacant reserve, the other oval with chased thistles in low relief and centred by a vacant cartouche & foiled glass cabochon, the horns terminating in thistle mounts set with pink-foiled glass and with mounted claw, turned wood mallet, pick, spoon and rake dependent, the head mounted on three small castors.
