Engraved with two oval reserves within foliate scrollwork, one with peacock perched on urn on balustrade, willow tree behind, vase of flowers on reverse; another card case by Frederick Marson, Birmingham, 1849, with engine-turned honeycomb design and engraved fruiting vines; and a combined card case carnet with propelling pencil, by Frederick Marson, Birmingham, 1864, lined in blue silk, engraved with geometric scrolls, urn of flowers and floral swags, engraved Christmas 1864
