A VIENNA (DU PAQUIER) BEAKER AND TREMBLEUSE SAUCER

The upper part of the beaker painted and enriched in gilding with two flowering branches, a bird perched on one branch, above a band of moulded flutes divided by pendant red husks, the iron-red border on the interior with triangles of hatching, the saucer similarly decorated around a central raised pierced gallery enclosing a vignette of a pavilion within a scalloped cartouche, the green rim with a black zig-zag line, the underside with radiating flutes and two flowering branches (minute flaking and areas of wear, wear to centre of saucer)
