A Viennese paste-set silver, lapis, enamel and ivory casket on stand

Of architectural outshape, surmounted by a figure of Diana, holding a bow, seated on a centaur, holding dogs, above a circular dial, on an octagonal spreading pediment, centred to the front by a frieze drawer, flanked to each angle by a putto riding a winged sea-horse, above two drawers surmounting a pair of cupboard doors, the interior fitted with six drawers, each side with a large rectangular mythological scene, flanked to each angle by a column with three figures to the base, the plinth centred to the front by a deep frieze drawer, each side with small drawer, on four square feet, the platform centred to the front by a frieze drawer, on four square tapering legs, each headed by scroll brackets, joined by an 'X'-shaped stretcher, on tapering feet
The casket: 35½ in. (90 cm.) high; 26¾ in. (68 cm.) wide; 20 in. (51 cm.) deep;
The stand: 33 in. (84 cm.) high; 32¼ in. (82 cm.) wide; 25½ in. (65 cm.) deep
